Cleveland, OH – August 18, 2009 – Avalution Consulting announced today the launch of their free Pandemic Preparedness Assessment.  This 10-minute, web-based survey addresses key considerations of  pandemic preparedness – including policy, prioritization, preparation/planning and communications/employee awareness – and will allow participating organizations to compare their level of preparedness for a pandemic event to others, as well as to recommended levels of preparedness.  

After completing the survey, Avalution’s professionals will review the submitted information and develop a summary of key findings and detail how the organization’s preparedness effort compares to others. Within five business days, Avalution will contact the participating organization to schedule a convenient time to discuss the results and present key recommendations. 

Brian Zawada, Director of Consulting Services at Avalution, stated, "Organizations worldwide are challenged by the unknowns associated with this current public health event and struggling with how best to prepare for a potentially escalating crisis brought on by H1N1.  Based on our interactions with dozens of organizations in the public and private sector, we created this survey as a way of assisting organizations with measuring their preparedness efforts and comparing their efforts with others.  It’s our hope that the information our professionals offer based on each organization’s survey responses will enable constructive conversations internally within those organizations participating.”
