.Net Developer Needed

Minimum Required Skills: SharePoint .Net, Asp.net, C#, vb.net, XML, API, SQL

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone either fresh out of school with strong academic credentials looking to jump start their development career, or for a developer with a few years of experience under their belt and looking to work in an independent environment and further develop their senior level skills.

Avalution is a leading provider of business continuity and IT disaster recovery consulting services and software solutions. We are constantly growing and adjusting our approaches to provide the highest quality product to our clients. We have a strong performance history and an excellent management team in place. We are a Cleveland-based small business, providing the work environment of a small company with the client base and benefits of a large organization.

You will be responsible for the development of current and future client software systems, participating in full life cycle development. You will work closely with a small technical team, as well as our consulting and marketing teams.

Must Haves:

1. Bachelors or Technical Degree in Computer Science or related field
2. 1+ year of experience or right out of school with strong academic credentials;
3. ASP.Net;
4. Front end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
6. Ability to work in a cohesive team;
7. Strong work ethic;
8. Energy and commitment to deliver cutting edge tools; and
9. Example code to share as an example of your capabilities – open source contributions are even better.

Nice to Haves:

1. SharePoint Development;
2. SQL Server; and
3. Web Services, XML.

What you'll be doing:

1. Develop, test and support high traffic, customer facing web applications;
2. Work with a team of two other engineers, manage on-demand off-shore resources;
3. Interface with clients and consulting and marketing teams; and
4. Build out the next-generation of our software applications.
