Brian Zawada
Director of Consulting Services
Brian Zawada (MBCP, MBCI) is a co-founder and the Director of Consulting Services for Avalution Consulting. Over the past thirteen years, Brian has actively managed internal business continuity programs and consulted with public and private sector organizations of all sizes. He focuses exclusively on business continuity management, specifically program definition, risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy definition, plan development, testing, training and program maintenance. Brian is a frequent author and speaker, serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Continuity Insights magazine, and is on the Technical Committee authoring the new ANSI/ASIS-sponsored business continuity standard. Formerly, Brian served as President of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners.
Prior to founding Avalution, Brian served as the firm-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) product leader for an international risk management consulting firm. Additionally, Brian was the Associate Director of Business Continuity Solutions for GE Global Asset Protection Services, a Manager in Arthur Andersen’s Risk Consulting practice and an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Robert Giffin
Director of Technology Solutions
Robert Giffin (CBCP, CISA) is a co-founder and the Director of Technology Solutions for Avalution Consulting. Rob has actively managed business continuity programs and consulted with his business continuity clients for over seven years. Rob specializes in the development of business continuity programs and solutions for organizations in the manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and consumer products industries, as well as in government. In addition to serving as a consultant, Rob is a frequent author and speaker, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Disaster Recovery Journal.
Prior to founding Avalution, Rob served as a Manager on the national business continuity team for an international risk management consulting firm.
